The Adyghe or Adygei are a people of the northwest Caucasus region, principally inhabiting Adygeya (now a constituent republic of the Russian Federation). Their language is also referred to as 'Adyghe or Adygeyan or Circassian. Within the Russian Federation, the main communities are in Adygeya, Kabardino-Balkaria and Karachay-Cherkessia. While Adyghe is the name this people apply to themselves, in the West they are often known as the Circassians, a term which can also apply to a larger group of peoples. http://www.garcia2010.org
During my 30 year career, I was Undersheriff, Warden and Deputy Warden at the Passaic County Sheriff’s Department. I managed the budget and operations efficiently and effectively. I am determined to develop a culture in the department that is guided by honorable values such as:
• Integrity
• Respect
• Duty
In 2010, I will officially become a candidate for Passaic County Sheriff. I am prepared and have a plan for the future. My administration will focus on the follwing priorities:
• Maximizing existing resources
• Placing the right services in the right places
• Eliminating wasteful spending
Integrity will be the foundation of our culture at the Sheriff’s Department. We will strengthen our unity, continuity and the ability to get the job done more efficiently. Transparency will reflect our willingness to share ideas and plans with communities we serve. We are undertaking an ambitious campaign to change, but one that is absolutely necessary to meet the urgent demands for responsible government. In 2010, the citizens of Passaic County have the opportunity to make this a reality.
